The Story Behind PRAGEET

PRAGEET started with a small idea — what if we could make everyday handbags a little more eco-friendly?

My family has been connected with painting and artwork on canvas fabric for a long time. Growing up around it, I often thought: why can't we replace some of the simple handbags and plastic bags people use every day with canvas?

And there was another thought that made the idea even more special to me.

Why not use our own artwork on these bags?

That way, the bag would not just be something useful. It could carry a little piece of our creativity, our work, and our connection with traditional art.

That small thought became PRAGEET.

We started very simply — selling through WhatsApp and approaching schools. The beginning was not easy. One of our biggest challenges was finding people who were willing to stitch bags in very small quantities. At the same time, it was difficult to make people understand why becoming more conscious about nature and reducing our dependence on plastic actually matters.

But we kept going.

One moment that gave me confidence was when we received an order for 2,000 bags from universities and schools. It made me feel that perhaps this small idea could really become something bigger.

Since then, we have sold more than 20,000 bags.

But honestly, the number is not what makes me the proudest.

What makes me proud is thinking that somewhere, because of PRAGEET, a person chose an eco-friendly bag instead of a regular plastic bag.

And there is another part of our journey that means a lot to us.

Many women have worked with us who have gone through difficult circumstances and have been abandoned by their families. Through the work we provide, our small aim is to help them stand on their own feet and become more independent.

For us, that is what a business should be about.

It should create something useful, but it should also create opportunities.

Today, we want PRAGEET to become a brand people know for eco-friendly bags, handicrafts, and products connected with our culture and creativity.

And this is only the beginning.

In the future, we want to add more products that can help preserve our traditions, our handicrafts, and our connection with nature.

We started with a small idea.

A canvas bag.

A little artwork.

And a thought that maybe we could do things differently.

Today, that thought has become PRAGEET.

And we hope that as PRAGEET grows, it can do a little more good along the way.
